Tim Rines
I'll make this short and sweet. I grew up in Cary, North Carolina after my dad was transferred from MA with a company called Data General. He later worked for IBM and brought home one of the first IBM Aptiva PCs. I was hooked on PC gaming, networking, building gaming computers, and LAN parties. After college I went into sales, then telecommunications and rental investing in Charleston, SC, before circling back to the original hobby.
In March of 2020 I finished the in-person Software Engineering immersive at Flatiron School Manhattan, then came back to Charleston and started shipping products again.
I'm a product engineer at Kitbash, where I work on Cargo, the cross-platform 3D asset manager artists use in Unreal, Blender, Maya, and Cinema 4D. I also run ChucktownAI, building AI automation and custom web apps for Charleston businesses. If you have a project and I have spare time, reach out: tim@rines.io.
